What's already configured out of the box
After the one-click deploy, n8n runs inside a Docker container with the runtime, its dependencies, and a reverse proxy for HTTPS access already in place — you don't need to install Node.js or configure a web server manually. The container is set to restart automatically if it stops or the server reboots, so a crash or maintenance restart doesn't leave your workflows offline.
First login
Open the panel through the domain or IP address provided in your Leneex dashboard; n8n serves its interface on port 5678 by default unless a reverse proxy on port 443 is already configured for your instance. On the very first visit, n8n shows a setup screen where you create the owner account yourself — there's no pre-generated admin password to look up, you set the email and password directly in the browser.
Practical first steps
Once the owner account is created, go to Credentials before building your first workflow — most nodes (Slack, Google Sheets, databases) require an API key or OAuth connection stored there before they'll run. If your instance is reachable from the internet, add basic authentication or restrict access by IP through the firewall, since n8n doesn't enforce extra login protection beyond the owner account by default. For anything triggered by webhooks, copy the production webhook URL from the node itself rather than assuming a fixed path — n8n generates it per workflow.
